So I'm tyring to replace the clutch slave and hose but I cannot get the hardline off the fitting that attaches to the body. I've been soaking in PB and even hit it with the smoke wrench and no can budge. Any ideas?

I'm really hoping not to have to replace the entre hardline. I replaced it in my GT and no biggie but a really comsumer of time which I do not have right now.

They can be frustrating, but Blaster and "crows-foot" line wrenches have always worked for me.

I just went through that same process. I wound up cutting the hose, and clamping the hose part with some vice grips wedged against the body. Then I could get the line undone without the entire thing spinning.

I wish they had used a hose retainer like they have on the brake hoses.
