Wedge Strut Replacement on TR7

I need to replace the front struts on my 1980 TR7 and have never done it. Is it a very difficult procedure and are there anything special or unusual I should know about? What about tools, do I need anything other that the basic of tools?

get the bearing kit for the top of the strut from wedge parts or TSI and replace the rubber bushings with the bearing kit, get new strut stops, gaiters. and while you are at it replace the brake hoses (25 years is 25 years).otherwise not a difficult job.
