Strong Gas Smell

Thanks, Doug. Good news, I think we got this licked. The mechanic found a some loose fittings around the fuel pump and fuel bowl. After I brought it home, the smell was much better. It was no longer in the house, but the garage still had an oder. I was not convinced that it was more than normal, but while under the car trying to minimize the oil leak, I saw something drop out of the corner of my eye and it turned out to be gas dripping ever so slowly from the plug in the tank. I thought we had tightened that, but I was able to get another partial turn on it and it still seems dry. I am hoping that is the end of it. So all inall, nothing major, just a few loose connections. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
