Cooling off into the 80's I've found myself out in the garage a couple of times in the past week or so. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Started gutting the TexBug interior and figured removing the doors would make it much easier for my clumsy self to get in/out...

You guessed it. Half of the screw heads are stripped. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif I've made it worse by trying a hand impact tool (hit with a hammer type) and compounded the pain with my screw extractor kit...

Soooooo, I'm left with pretty much nothing to bite with a bit. Any suggestions? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

i drilled the heads out to remove the hinges. if the remaining bolt is rusted solid, you may have to drill and retap.
 
Be sure to use a pozidrive bits on the other side. They make a big difference. You'll also need them in a lot of other places on the car.
 
Drill heads off and use vice grips on what is left after some PB blaster for a few days.
