Looking for pics of BE's with Stripes. Bugsy's bonnet has just had first BRG Coat applied and will be receiving twin yellow stripes. Looking for advice on width and spacing from folks who've been there before. Thinking 2 6" wide x 2" spacing apart ala Cobra Style. Who has done it differently?

Barry can I get pics of your car again - silver and orange I think.

I've got pics of the BE Racer on the latest cover of MOSS Catalog.

Have seen The Mite in BRG and White with Twin Stripes.

Need your ideas. Thanks guys.

I had stripes on my Mk 2 back in '65. They aren't as bold as you are looking for but I liked them. I just added a photo to my webshots that shows what they looked like. It is the last photo in my album.

A long time ago I helped my dad mask off stripes on ONe of his spridgets. As I recall we used a single line of masking tape to separate the stripes. That would put the gap at 3/4". I liked the look of it. Follow this link to see a blue bugeye with stripes that look what I described above:

It's the 11th picture that comes up with a google image search for bugeye sprite racing

LOTO...2008. Single wide.

These are a little different. It's two wide ones
separated by two small ones.I'm going to re-paint
soon and thought of ditching the stripes. Not now.
I'm going to keep them. They have grown on me.
