Okay, maybe not very interesting, but I thought I'd share anyways:

Tallahassee Florida has a small housing development called the Alpine village, the roads leading into and out of the place are Sunbeam lane, and sunbeam way.

This seams like a great coincidence, or perhaps a car nut was the developer?

In Winnipeg we have a street called Alpine 1.Have had a few banguets at the complex there and I always make sure the non sunbeamers know where we are.

In Utah we have a canyon road, very twisty and climbing maybe 5000 feet called the Alpine Loop. Can't wait to drive it this summer now that my car will be finished.
