Strange response to my car today

Well one can assume anything in this case, but its most likely DRUG RELATED!Drugs make people do animal like very strange things.,So lets assume when he's sober he never knew what he did.;-)...........OR that was just his way of saying THATS A SWEET LOOKING CAR.Reverse physcology is alway alive & well,You just have to think outside of the box.......He was just saying to you BOY would i like a CAR LIKE THAT!...Its the same thing as someone giving you the bird...there saying i'm jealous.

I would've opted for the european two fingers, as it would be fitting in the British car, and it's fun to give degenerates an insult they don't understand.

Locally there was a guy with a Chevy van that had pro- union, anti-forign car phrases plastered all over it, ("Every import car sold costs 3 U.S. auto workers thier jobs" and other such lies) Once at a light I pulled up just as it was turning green and only wound up slowing down, not stopping like he was. By george he wasen't gonna let me pass him in my Nissan! and he flat out floored it and beat me to where the two lanes merged about 100 yards down the road. I let him. It wasen't worth me being late to my job at a Toyota dealer due to an accident with an idiot.

I used to get "nice car" at gas stations all the time in my TR4A..... But that was before they got a good look at it! hehehehehehe.

My all-time favorite response from a pedestrian was in the TR-250. A young woman shouted to me while I was sitting at a light, thusly:

"mmmmm-MMMMMMM boy, you must be getting some in a car like that!"

Let me guess...Hillary Clinton?

Don't give the jerk the time of day. Doesn't deserve it.

My response to him -- which was visual -- had nothing to do with the time of day! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

After I reached that ripe old age, the doctor told me
he had to perform an exam on me and he called it The Finger Wave.

You didn't give him a finger wave, of sorts, did you?

Seems like some people just dont respond well to LBC's

I was approaching a Wendys cruise night with all the regular Cheveys, Fords etc...
I was about to park & one of the parking stooges told me NO IMPORTS!, when I looked over 3 cars there was a pigged out Mazda & Toyota.

I said forget it and kept driving!

Another ignorant prejudice!

Unless it was one o'clock, I assume? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Indeed! Had we been in Britain, it would have been two o'clock!

Please bear in mind the reaction of the other driver next time he sees another LBC.

As a cyclist, it is common thought that whatever the driver does to you, restrain yourself from giving the proper salute. The next cyclist he comes across may not be as fortunate as you were. The same thing may apply to LBC drivers.

I am amazed by the cell phones through or out the window that I get in my Mini. What a sign of the times! The reaction I get that I truly don't understand is the number of people that feel compelled to get around me as QUICKLY as possible, like I am in their way or something. I am driving at the posted speed limits but constantly people will climb up my backside and then pass me to either side. Help me understand that one.........

I feel the same way in my TR6, seems ppl see a small car and figure they have to get in front of you!

Very frustrating especially when your in traffic and on the highway.

I for one try not to beat on my car, so I drive at the posted speed limits, but it seems that everyone and their brother have to drive at least 20% above the posted limits.

In Connecticut the road conditions are not always good.
(go figure)
Driving in a older vehicle can rattle the car around & I dont have a big enough net to catch all the parts falling off.

Think bout it, when we were kids watching the Jetsons we figured by 2000 we would be flying in our cars.
