Strange MG day...

Yesterday I was working at my VW shop...on my MGA..my MGC.and a pals MGB-GT. Running from car to car, mostly the 71 GT that belongs to my pal Bill. He was at a local estate auction waiting for a beautiful 1922 Hupmobile to be offered up. As soon as he said his wife wanted it, i struck a deal...I'd stay away and work on his MG if after he bought the Hupmobile, he'd call me when a 1915 Model T went on the block. He called at the beginning of the Hup bidding, he got that(fairly large bucks) and within three minutes I owned the T. Now my shop has a strange collection of stuff. Both those cars, my 911 and numerous MGs and Mustangs as well as a few customers MGs, VWs, Jags and other assorted vehicles. Best thing is...his wife...and mine..are both tickled pink.

Good for you Jack!

Where can I get one like yours? Wife that is...

I get involved with ladies and they seem to enjoy my enthusiasm for autos AT FIRST. But as the relationship develops they start becoming resentful of the cars...

Have you been on the IATN forums lately? I kinda gave up after the last attack session I underwent there. Keep paying my dues, and maybe later this year, if I don't hear good things, might quit paying and just forgo them completely.

I kinda had a similar issue, Ron. Backed out over two years ago now. I admitted to being mostly retired and that seemed to cause a few of 'em some sort of grief.
