Storage unit full of Spridget parts

There we go again, on the otherside of the country. Durn.

Isn' that something Jack!! When are we East coast guys gonna get a find like that?? :cryin:

Boy I wish Mike, I'll share. Even the wife said I needed a find like that.

Hey Folks,

I don't post much in the Spridget forum, I'm normally in the Healey, Triumph, and "Other" area.

I rescued said stash of bits. And, well, it was one heck of an adventure....

That being said, Now that I've got everything at home, the sorting will be starting, I'm going to ebay some of the more choice bits (so that I may cover the costs of the truck rental and gasoline). Once that's covered I'll be happy to start redistributing some of the bits for the cost of postage/shipping.

I don't have a Spridget in the driveway at the moment (but, were I given a chassis I could probably assemble the rest from the pile of boxes and bits) but that's likely to change at any moment (old LBCs seem to know to come to my house *just* before they are to be sent to the crusher).

If you need anything let me know, and I'll either go digging, or let you know if I come across one during the inventory/cleanup process. I'm off for vacation the next week, but will be back home and in proximity to the parts then.

What I do know is that I've got a ton of the following: Doors, Steering racks, bumpers, bumper overriders, and BOXES and BOXES of "miscellaneous".

There's also some Triumph and MGB stuff as well.

Jody

Thanks for letting us know -- I'm sure there will be folks (me included) in touch for parts!

Hey Folks,

I'm back from vacation and getting ready to dive through stuff. I've been looking around for Parts Catalogs for the Sprite/Midget and have been coming up short or overpriced. I'm presently stuck in the "I can recognize the part, but dunno the part # nor the generation on which it's used" issue.

Any recommendations on where to get ahold of one?

Thanks!
Jody

oooh, I have an idea. Since you'll most likely need pictures of thing to sell them, why not post the picture here first and we can identify them. It'd be a fun game.

Heh, did you see the gross volume of stuff I have to go through? I'd totally clog the intertubes if I posted pics of everything.

Doesn't the Moss catalog give you enough information?

Does a moss europe catalog have part numbers?

Yes, it sorta does.

I'm anal retentive though, and I really like to have the original part #'s which Moss doesn't list.
