Anyone repair a hydraulic stop lamp switch for a bugeye? They are the same unit used on an early B. I've got juice, good circuits, good lamps. Guess the switch is bad but don't see how it could. Would like to get lights working today. I'll post on MGB forum also.
Thanks in advande for any help.

I doubt you could fix one of these very easily.
I think you can replace it with older American hydraulic stop switches of the same style....I think the threads are the same.
Or convert to the simple mechanical switch used on later Spridgets.

It is a basic 2 terminal 3/8 fine thread stop lamp switch.
Lucas wants $30, Pepboys wants $3.
Wire the two wires from the switch together, turn on the key, if the lights work, it's a bum switch.
