Stoopid heater hose!

Only lasted 11 years.

Searched the spares bin here for a three foot piece of 1/2" Gates hose... have 3/4", 5/8", 7/16", 1/4"... NO half-inch!!! Had to actually BUY some. Unbelieveable. :wink:

Half an hour and less than a quart of coolant.

All better now.

Lucky for me I'm in Chicago and Doc's way down yonder in snow bird land, otherwise I think I might be having an up close and personal meeting with that aformentioned piece of rubber pipe!

I ~thought~ I did too, Doug. No idea where that went. It may appear as chaos here but usually I can grab whatever is needed to do a silly-simple R&R like this.
