Something to stop leak. What ever brand, works well and does not cause problems.

I am still on the fence on the stop leak thing. It did ok today after topping it up down in south carolina. Its probably low right now but it did not overheat. I am going to just drive it till winter and do something then. Still going to find another head I think.

Amen, the right stuff in the right amount could only help I believe.
 
I looked in my pile today, I've got a 12G1316, same head you have now, it will need a complete rebuild, it's a bare head, I've even taken some of the guides out of it already, so it will need a complete overhaul, if you want it, it's yours. Just give me a shout, I'll help you get a new head together.

I'm cheap hap :smile: I will see what I can find for a complete head that somebody has just pulled off and see what I can find. I am not in a hurry right now, just going to drive her for the summer and fall for now. It sure runs good for eating water though. If I run into some extra money I might take you up on that though. I hope a head is all it is.
