Well, I've got most of my frame work done, brake lines are just about done, lights all work, fuel lines are in , fuel tank is ready to go in... Now I'm just waiting on the title... still! ..waiting.... waiting...

I was out in the shop last night.. Welding is all done, brake lines and hoses are all in. I was trying to get the bleeders free on the calipers, but coulden't get the one. So I took it into work to use the heat wrench to free it up when I realised the boot was ripped and the piston was all pitted up. So I reluctantly called the parts store to see how much replacements were gonna set me back......
I forgot this is a Jeep, not an LBC... $14.50 a side!!!!(yes, the whole caliper) I love this thing! everything is dirt cheap! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
 
Wow, thats really cheap...Even for a Jeep part....My old Wagoneer used to bleed my wallet weekly.

Yeah, that can a beautiful thing.
For that exact reason, I have been contemplating racing an American "banger" in our club races instead of the Spridget

I'd still run the Spridget, but only in vintage races.

In fact someone just gave me a nice '92 Ford Escort today (and my sister-in-law gave her '91 Escort GT to me a while back)....so the choice of "banger" is now set. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
 
Just watch the push in the corners... those escorts have it bad.
 
And I think that that's the one with the 1.8 that likes to eat pistons. not to mention the self destructing tranny...
Still.. those things are pretty cheap comparitivly
