TR6 Sticky clutch

I got the new bronze sleeve. It is actually tighter on the cover than the old one. I haven't had a chance to do any measurements yet. The sleeve will slide on the cover but has a little more resistance than the old on. Could it be that the old one was too loose?

I recommend changing the front cover at the same time. They are not that expensive and the wear on mine was not real obvious except on the end. Might avoid another tranny pull.
I will order a new front cover tomorrow. Too much work to pull the tranny.

i was going to loosen the clutch assy to re-align everything and noticed two bolts missing from the engine plate. I removed the flywheel ti replace them. When I got the flywheel off I found that there were only three bolts holding the plate .

i know that I am subject it a senior moment every now and then but I cannot believe that I would miss something like that during the rebuild. I tried to go over everything twice and torqued everything.

If I am making mistakes like that I need to get rid of my tools.
