All of us remember advertising jingles that stick in your head.

Some from 50 years ago are still with me.

<span style="font-style: italic">Winston tastes good like a cig, cig, cigarette should...</span>

<span style="font-style: italic">Aren't you glad you use Dial, don't you wish everyone did...</span>

In that vein:

" <span style="font-style: italic"> L-S-M-F-T </span>"

"My beer is Rheingold the dry beer. Think of
Rheingold whenever you buy beer. It's not bitter, not
sweet, it's the extra dry treat -- Won't you try extra
dry Rheingold beer?"

And if you see a shopping cart, what do you think of?

I'm just going to wait and see how many of you really, really paid attention to the early B&W television commercials. Hint, "You Asked For It."

No Rheingold, but if you want a blast from the past, there's a bar in Mystic Ct at the drawbrige call John's Bar who still serves Ballentine in 8 oz glasses. Game of pool, still 25 cents.

Remember these guys?
(Burt & Harry)

AS one who spent lots of time with foreign students in an elevator I can appreciate...

Bill - you'll remember this one:

" <span style="font-style: italic"> You'll wonder where the yellow went... </span> "

Elliot, spent my informative years in the DC area.Still never heard of it.
My uncle use to buy a cheap beer out of Pa,Gibbons ,I think.
The deposit on the bottles was more than the beer

Where's the Beef?!

This is the only cheap beer that I know of in PA.
HOWEVER you best ask the Doc about cheap beer in PA :jester:
