Steering Wheel Repair

I've just removed the steering wheel from my 66, as well as the wrap and a significant amount of duct tape.

It requires repair on the areas where the chrome meets the outer wheel.

I'd like to repair it and leave it unwrapped. What should I use?

Thanks,

Is this a "plastic" wheel with steel spokes? If you're dealing with that type, I believe that both Eastwood and POR-15 have kits to fill the cracks and restore their functionality. The POR site was down tonight, but when it's back up, look at www.por-15.com You can also check Eastwood (www.eastwoodco.com) and look for item #52054.

Yes, that's the kind I have.

Thanks for the response.

I need a new steering wheel for my 1967 Midget. Are there alternate steering wheels which will fit? I know MG Midget wheels from 1964-1967 will fit. Any other models from Jaguar, MGA, MGB etc?

Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
