Get a wheel off a bugeye, sand the Healey wings/ribs off the spokes, remove the Healey button and install the MG button. Problem solved
 
Or, you could switch it out to an aftermarket wooden wheel
 
I just saw another healey wheel on Ebay.
 
Sorry, but that does look a tad too far gone to fix with a good cosmetic result (to my eyes anyway).

Used wheels that are basically solid do clean up pretty well, so using the trader section or eBay can be a good way to go.

And a wooden wheel can look really nice as well!
