Steering wheel covers. I am looking to get a cover for my tr3. I see that VB sells an inexpensive one. Or where do people get theirs thanks in advance



 
+1 on Wheelskins. It's a custom order if you buy directly from them, but a lot cheaper than buying through Moss. You just send them the outside diameter of the wheel, and the distance around the rim. Look for their ad on eBay, it's sometimes even cheaper than the web site. And although it shows stock covers in a lot of styles, they will make a laced leather cover for the same price.

My first one (through Moss) lasted close to 20 years with practically no maintenance and the car mostly parked outdoors in So CA sun.
 
I used the "jumbo" sized laced wheel cover off the shelf from advance auto for the TR250 and some other old cars I have, not sure if the TR250 wheel is the same as a TR3, the cover was barely big enough to get around the wheel, but might stretch more on a warm sunny day. Cheap, works.
 
+1 on Wheelskins. I recently restored an adjustable wheel to replace the broken one on my '58 TR3A. Before installing it on the car, I brought it to Wheelskins (I live nearby), and they made a cover while I waited! Very nice people at this little shop. And the cover fit, looks, and feels fantastic. Very reasonably priced, too!

Another +1 on Wheelskins, which I've had on my TR3 for over 20 years. The steering wheel is one of the few parts of the Triumph that you actually touch while driving, so it's worth whatever it takes for it to feel good to you.
