Steering Wheel but size for BE

What size nut holds on a BE steering wheel? Got the right size at home but need to buy one so I can attempt to remove steering wheel and dash for Bugsy II. Steering wheel is not cracked and simply needs a little clean and paint.

Put a caliper on my steering column, reads 0.55", looks like fine thread. Seems like I remember reading that it is not a common thread size.

did some more searching, it is not something you can go buy. Very fine thread 9/16, 24-26 TPI

The socket size is 1-1/16"
