This is a response to Lutz' issues with his steering. Wanted a separate thread to discuss solutions to the shaft, which is $600 new from Moss.

Loctite makes epoxy products designed to repair turbine shafts which can be machined back to original size. This video describes how it's done:

I would think this could be done pretty easily.

very intersting to see that this is possible. Never heard of it before. If I had known before I should have tried that before buying new parts.
