I have an early model steering rack on my car. The one that calls for oil. It seems that there is always a fair amount of seepage and I'm constantly topping it up. So ... I'm thinking about using some "Corn Head" Grease in it. This stuff practically flows, and maintains its consistency/viscosity balance over a wide range of temperatures. Anyone tried this before? They use this stuff in all sorts of gearboxes so I'm thinking it won't "gum up".
