I jacked up my TR4 then saw what looked like fresh tears in the boots, particularly the passenger side. Looks like the “drop” of the rack arms from raising the vehicle puts a lot of pressure on the boots right near the tie-rods. Is that normal? Can’t think of any way to avoid that extra pressure and stress when raising the car, particularly when the wheels need to come off, like when working on brakes or other underside components. Just curious if you’ve all experienced this with the rubber rack boots. Thx
