TR2/3/3A steering fouled up

Hi
I put the steering on the car today and was surprised to find a problem I can turn fully to the right, but turning to the left is limited by the inner tie rod end on the passenger side fouling on the idler arm (3d pic). As you can see in the 2nd picture, turning to the right is limited by the stop on the trunion. In the 3d picture you can see that I can't get anywhere close to full lock to the left. I expect that this might change a little when the suspension has some weight on it, but this just doesn't seem right. Do you guys see any problems? IMG_0219.jpgIMG_0220.jpgIMG_0221.jpg

Your photos don't show the whole front end. When you but the engine weight on the frame the tie rod levers should come up some. I am guessing that it will be enough to lift the tie rod over the idler arm. Try having two grown people sit on the front of the frame with the wheels on the floor. See if the problem goes away.

That washer on the stop is a cam. It looks like turning the cam will give you more room.

It's a bit hard to tell from your photo, but what I think I'm seeing is the center link installed upside down. The center section should drop down between the idler arm and rocker arm; but your looks like it is coming up instead of down. If I'm right, that means you'll have to press the Silentbloc bushings back out and install them the other way.

If you have the rebound stops installed (the rectangular rubber block under the spring pan), then it should turn all the way to the stop on the trunnion even with the stop backed off as far as it will go. I only needed to adjust the stops inward once I installed an anti-sway bar (to keep my wide tires from rubbing the sway bar at full lock).
