You do realize that those bolts are safety-wired? Yes, easily changed in situ.

Re: Steering flexible coupling - how easy to repla

Thanks guys. I did take the safety wire out, but I'll hit them with a bit more force. I just didn't want to break anything.

Thanks again!

Re: Steering flexible coupling - how easy to repla

Guys-
I'm new and need help concerning the "flexible coupling yoke". This is a seperate piece that fits on top of the usual flex coupling that you see for sale in all of the catalogs. My flexible coupling yoke has a sizeable crack, yet I see it illustrated in all of the catalogs (TRF. Vic. Brit.), yet not for sale. Can anyone help me with finding this part (and the pinchbolt that secures it)? Or am I overlooking the obvious? I greatly appreciate any help.(this is for a TR6 73, sorry)

Re: Steering flexible coupling - how easy to repla

What is the part Number?
Don

Re: Steering flexible coupling - how easy to repla

In the Moss Motors catalogue, in the steering section it is part #20 (called the adaptor), 21 and 22 are the nut and bolt). Thanks.
