Steering column

Hello,

I have only been signed up to this forum for 24 hours and have already received a lot of useful information. Hopefully I can be of help to someone else in the future.

In any case, this time I need help with a '69 TR6. I recently purchased this car on Ebay. Believe it or not the car was far better than described in the ad. The one problem I am having is that the previous owner dismantled and took out the steering column. I have a Moss cataglog and Haynes manual, but I still can't figure out what goes where and if I am missing any pieces. Is there anyone who could send me a detailed picure looking up towards the dash on the driver's side, and another picture looking down at the rest to the steering from the engine compartment?
Thank you.

Thanks for the information. Between both pieces of information, I hope I can get the steering column back in place.

Tman: If it turns out that you are missing a buch of parts another option would be to buy an entire used column assembly and just bolt it in. If you do not have a good west coast source try Scott Harper at Team Triumph in Warren,Ohio. (330) 392-7176.
Scott also has a 69 TR6 and a warehouse literally stacked to the rafters with TR bits. Very reasonable too. I recently got a good used pedal box from him, with both pedals, no elongated holes in the pedals and good, tight shaft bushings for $15 ! Another great deal was a good used TR250 steering wheel for $35.

If you find you are short some bits, I have some steering column bits left over from my TR4 project. Just drop me an email.

Did you receive my email address? I was having some problems trying to send my email address to you. I think I may be only missing a couple of parts at this point. The pictues should help clear up what is missing.
Thanks, Kevin
