I am currently fitting the steering column in my BJ7. I have the mounting bracket AHb9683 but I am not clear if the bracket 14b2549 is required for the BJ7 . It shows these brackets in the BMC service parts list but shows them for BJ8's. I have also found a metal bracket which purpose is to capture two set screws. Is this to hold the 14B2549 bracket? I can supply a pic. of this bracket when I get access to my digital camera.
Unfortunately I did not dismantle the car so this will be the first of a few queries. I have found this forum invaluable in the past.
