Steering Box Bracket

Does anyone have experience removing the steering box bracket (Moss part no.667-805 ...the one down by the pitman arm with the 3 bolts that go through it) from the steering box? I am changing out my steering box and need some help.

The box assembly, with the pitman bar, is off the car. My question is how do I get the braket off the steering box after the pitman bar is removed. There are no bolts -- just the bracket around the bottom of the box above the pitman bar.

The bracket is a slip fit when the bolts are loose and becomes a clamp when the mounting bolts are tightened. It may be a bit stiff but you should be able to just slide it off after the pitman arm is removed. If it's stuck try turning it as if it was threaded onto the box - twist and pull.
