Steering Assembly

I am reassembling the steering mechanism and planing to use the old side rods as they don't have any apparent wear or play in them. However both rods have a slight arch in them. Is this normal or the result of some kind of damage?

All the side links I've seen--a half-dozen or so, OEM and aftermarket--were straight.
