Since I needed to clean up the over spray from my recent paint "touch up", I decided to tear down the front suspension and detail it to a higher level than I had previously done. I've cleaned and painted the brake calipers. I've also removed the steering arms and painted them yellow as was original on AN5L 9382. I bought new lock washers from AH Spares. My question this morning is how do I bend the tabs up on the lock washers without buggering them up?
 
Very carefully?

... Just pre-bend them slightly and take your time with a small punch.

If you want originality then go ahead and bugger them up. :wink:
 
Arn't they all buggered.
 
I used a screw driver, a brass punch, and a modest sized hammer. Worked just fine.
