Hi Folks,
While rebuilding the front suspension on my '64 Sprite I noticed the steering arms appear to have been painted light green from the factory. Would this be correct? I have seen reference to Bugeye arms painted yellow from the factory. Any thoughts?

Not sure what to beleive anymore on color. Can't go wrong with black.

Common Jack, aren't the shocks painted flamingo pink

I always thought that they were black.

Here is a picture of the arms after I cleaned them. There is no colour under the green layer.

The yellow ones I was refering to were seen here

That almost looks like rather faded BMC green like the engine colour!!

I too think that is engine paint.
