As most of you remember, last week I took Miss Agatha over to a friends very very large garage for a visit with his race cars while I redid my garage.

Today I report that everything was taken off the walls and they were painted with two coats and much of the stuff has been put back after being cleaned and sorted.

Next week is the floor if it arrives tue. as we hope. Monday well be spent scrubing the floor and acid etching.

The material is a commercial grade chain linked polamer with a high fill. Not what you would us on a normal garage floor.

More to follow, boy am I tired, that's a lot of work even with help.

PHOTOS??????????????................

Nothing to see here, move along. Photos when finished.

Do you mean "cross-linked" polymer?

Does it have an activator?

Oh yes, has activator. This is the real stuff, not that used for home garage floors. This is commercial quality for auto dealerships, warehouses, and the like.

Jack, watch the fumes when you do the acid wash...need some ventilation.

Also, I debated the color chips but am glad I went with them...doesn't show dirt as bad...more time spent playing, less time sweeping/cleaning.

And use the aluminum oxide grit in the color coat; that clear coat over the top is slick as glass if you don't...can't have you slipping and falling down!

Good luck, it's a fun project!

Garage has now been acid washed and power washed. All the dirt and grease is gone. Almost looks like a new garage floor.

Coating is supose to be layed in two coats a thin one Wed, and the final Thur. then we wait till tue to drive cars on it.

Sigh, pickie, pickie, pickie.
