Last year, 2023, was the first time in my life I ever entered any sort of photography contest. I submitted the maximum allowed images (4) and to my total surprise, I actually won first place in the adult amateur division. (Funny thing was, the picture that won was the one I felt had the worst chance of winning)

I decided to enter again this year, and again I'm entering the maximum four images allowed. It's always hard to decide which images to submit, but these are the four I have decided to enter this year (you can't re-enter photos that you have entered in past contests).

I'm a little skeptical on the AMATEUR part! Those are amazing! And a such a great mix -- black & white and color, landscape, astronomy, animals, and even astronomy plus landscape plus cityscape.

Pity you're limited to four, I'd like to see how one of your "star path" photos (the one you called a mistake) would do.

I am going to show her a poorly printed screen shot to see if it is something she would like. Would hate to spend the $$$ and have her not like or want it. I think she will like it though. I'll let you know after I show it to her.
