Starting Troubles Still

Dear Morris,

I put the new starter in and she fired right up. Ran fine & idled high for about 15 seconds. I started to adjust the choke to slow it down a bit, and it konked out. Now it will not start.

I had been giving it a bit of pedal while I had the choke out before I adjusted and she died. Could I have flooded it? I see gas in the fuel filter so I know I have gas.
Plugs new .025".
Battery is new.
Cap new
Rotor new
Points new .015"
Wires are decent
Generator is putting out

Where should I look?

Brakes & clutch are almost bled & everything is back together. I really wanted to go out for a spin this weekend. The weather is awesome & there are classic cars & planes everywhere.

Signed,

But, is it getting out of the filter to the carb?

I'm assuming you have fire at the plugs?

Old trick, pull plugs, put a shot of fuel in each cyl. just a bit. Replace plugs, try to fire it up. if it catches for a bit you have a fuel prob.

This trick brought to you by the old shade tree gang.

Thanks guys. But it's alive.
