With the weather warming up here in DC, I'm getting ready to put our TR-250 on the road again. I put the car away for the season right before Thanksgiving. I started him up on Christmas Eve -- I was showing off to some friends, and the car obliged -- turned over twice and then roared life. However, I haven't started it since Dec. 24. Any advice on what I should do before starting the car up again? I put a stabilizer in the tank and ran it enough to make sure it got into the carbs. Aside from checking fluid levels, anything special?

Crank the engine a couple of times with the HT lead disconnected, just to build up oil pressure first, then reconnect, and fire her up. There may be other tips, but that is a biggie in my opinion.
 
I fired my 6 up after two months of storage...no messing with anything. Just had a battery trickle charger hooked up all winter. Started right up. Let her run for 20 minutes or so and back in the garage. I have a lot of things to finish so I couldn't take her out, but it was fun just getting her started (and in gear!).
