Nice to be back home-
Will post more later.
norton: It could also be your gearbox mount.
If you are able- remove the shift lever boot
so you can view where it joins into the gearbox.
Start your engine and apply full hand brake tension.
Keep your eyes pinned on the the top of the gearbox
where the shift lever enters it.
Push in clutch, engage 1st gear and let clutch out
slowly while revving the engine. Keeping your hand
on the hand brake at all times.
Give enought gas and clutch so the car just begins
to break free of the hand brake, or stalls.
If you can detect any rotational movement where
the shift lever joins the gearbox- you have a bad
gearbox mount. My new gearbox hardware should arrive
next week!!
Always remember: if it's broken, worn out or halfassed
repaired, it has been found in the Crypt Car.
