Starting from scratch.

Yeah, I took Hap's "2.5" mile figure.

I just went to the website you provided and it states "2.02" miles.

Using the 2.02 distance, your number correct.

As you can see, I was flabbergasted by a 115 average. 93+ mph *is* fast!

Sorry about the wrong miles, but it is a super fast and fun track, it just flows, super trick gearboxes paly no advantage there, not needed, with a SC/CR box you only need 3rd and 4th, with one of the really trick dog boxes, you've got a ferw palces you can try second, but thrid still works pretty good. It close enough to one of the prettiest cities in America in Savannah, great seafood in the area, as well a great BBQ. It's great place to race.

Hap, I've never been to Roebling Road. We love Savannah though as we've got timeshares on Hilton Head Island. When you get a schedule put together for next years racing let me know. Maybe it'll coinside with one of our trips out that way.

So,Barry when are you going to tell us what you decide to do about a car etc,.??
Sounds like you are getting serious now. Autocross not exciting any more? :jester:

It was merely a gateway.
I have a new itch, and it needs to be scratched.

When I can convince my wife she doesn't need new kitchen cabinets.

There's a VDCA event at Roebling Road coming up December 12-14. It is one of my favorite tracks and the VDCA people really know how to have a good time with fine competition and great food. Hope I see you there.
