Starter Solenoid Alternative

I am trying to locate a starter solenoid locally for my 74 Midget without any success. Is there another solenoid from a different model car that will work? I can order from Moss but need it sooner.

Ford solenoid from any late 60's and I think up to early 90's or later that I know of.
They used a starter without a solenoid, but a rocker assembly to engage the drive gear. The solenoid was mounted on the firewall or some such.

any 12-v basic solenoid will work. Ford included. Ive got a golf car relay in mine. Mostly they all use the same principal.
