When I rebuilt my Midget last year of course I bought and replaced the starter...now its gone out. I know it is not a terribly expensive part and it came with a lifetime replacement guarentee...Is this why it is so inexpensive, because its cheap! Now I have to take it off, take in the core and get a new one every few months? Why don't they just charge me more and make one that lasts? It is a hassle to remove and they know it! I don't even have an option (do I?) because the local parts store sells one and this is it so I'm stuck with cheaply made parts that don't last (even if it has a lifetime replacement guarantee) its the idea of having to pull it off and replace it.
