You might try posting this in the "MG" section.

Does anybody in the Vancouver B.C. area have a set of hog ring pliers, for crimping the hog rings that hold seat covers to the frame. I need to borrow a set ( or buy ) and none of the parts places out my way carry them..

TypeR:

Go to:

https://www.harborfreight.com/

and type "hog" in search box......they're only 5 or 6 dollars (USD).

Perhaps you could look here:

I've seen a TD crank and it looks as if it would be easy to make one....if you could borrow one, to take mesurements, perhaps you (or your local machine shop) could fabricate one. Sorry...no other suggestions.

A good upholstery store will have them.Should be easy to find.

Hey Stutzdriver.
That was a nice comment to make about a Canadian Co.
I have dealt with American Companys and on the whole have found them to be very good. That is especially more often than not when you tell them up front that I'm calling from Winnipeg Manitoba.

I don't mind recomending good distributors no matter where they are located, good is good. Spaenauer and McMaster-Carr both are good places to buy many of the items we all look for that are not specific OEM parts They both distribute products that my employer manufactures here in the USA. Imagine that, there really are companies that make something in the USA!!!
