It is well over a decade since I abandoned the project and so today, since it was raining I devoted some time to cleaning up the mess all over the car and assessing what I have left myself.









I was pleasantly surprised to find some of the original Ice Blue on the fire wall





A long way to go, but I feel at least as though I am stepping in the right direction
 
Are you planning on doing a nut and bolt everything perfect type restoration or claining it up and getting it back on the road, i drove a 100 in "rough and ready" shape for many years, they are still beautiful and enjoyable cars, and it doesn't take nearly as much time and money to get them back on the road, and you don't have to stress quite so much about somebody scratching the paint!
 
At the moment I am kind of feeling my way. I think what I would like to arrive at is a nice car, back in its original color that is safe and fun to drive. I really think it deserves to have the body and substructure taken care of. But I really don't think I want to get too obsessive about perfection. I have a decent documented history of the car from the 60's onwards, and I think in a way I want it to keep some of that history intact.
