Wow, that car is much nicer than mine when I started, to each his own, but I would clean it up, put some proper wheels on it, get it mechanically up to snuff and drive the heck out of it.

Possibly......but, the frame is shot and needs to be exchanged, thus the body off.

Wish the one I have left to do was that nice. i could beat that time by several days.
Marv

For me its a pretty ambitious schedule considering my real work, workload. I am lucky to get out there for a few hours per night....plus, as driving season gets closer, weekends are/were often spent doing car club events/shows etc so that doesn't leave much time to work on the cars either....I had planned to go to TRA this year and have booked the Hotel, but I may decide to save the time/money and invest it in the 250.....we shall see.

"frame is shot" well I guess if if you have to take it all apart you might as well polish it up a little.....

I'll be anxiously watching your videos and planning for when I'll be digging into my TR250 which has sat quietly in the driveway for several years, awaiting the final final completion of the TR3A and repletion of my bank account.

I am amazed how you can do such big projects back to back! I always need a break...but that's likely my age showing!?! Anyway, i look forward to following along...

Same here, I completed my TR250 in 2010 or so, and I am still not sure I am up for another full restoration, which for me takes a couple years, not days, mostly cause it takes me forever to get the panels perfectly prepped for painting, and even when I do they are not perfect.

Well, it's be a long hard week but I managed to get quite a bit accomplished so I'm happy but tired! Real work is going to get in the way this week so now it sits for a bit...tick tock

This video series is amazing! Excellently documenting the proper procedure for tearing a car down and ( presumably  ) putting it back together. Dare I say when completed, it would make a very good How To DVD?? The methodology will apply to any year and make of car. Now Tush, do something about that day job so you can get back to the important stuff!! LoL
