Why is the phrase "Stand UP Comic" even used? Ever see a "Lay Down Comic"? I guess someone could lay down and make a joke, but would he/she be called a stand up comic? Lotta terminology issues here that needs to be addressed. :devilgrin: PJ

They called it "stand-up" because it started out being a lot more truthful than "Sketch" comedy...... :stupid:
