Hi, Basil - I like Lennon's version too. They play it often on the Jimmy Buffet station on XM radio (channel 55).
 
Man - I am so glad I'm in the office by myself, this just brought tears to my eyes. Music truly is the universal language and what a great, great presentation of one of my all time favorites.

Soft music can soothe the savage beast. Swing, jazz and disco makes us want to dance. Patriotic and love songs swell our hearts and opens our emotions.

So what does rap music do?

I think using 'rap' & 'music' together is an insult to music!

That was a great rendition....think I've seen some of the N'Awlins street musicians before.
 
rap is not the only insult to music most of the artist coming out are an insult to music.............
 
THANK YOU MIKE! I enjoyed it immensely. I love that kind of music. The production was fantastic. Proof that there some cool artists out there, if we could just find them all. What a gathering that would be.
