Just thought someone might benefit from some information that I found. There is a company selling stainless steel repro bumpers for MK I and II Spitfires. The email is groupharrington.com and the location of the item is listed as England. NOT. I contacted the company to see if they were going to make them for MK IIIs. They said they would like to and would give me a break on a set if they could use my old bumpers as a pattern. DHL was supposed to pick them up. Turns out the company is in Viet Nam. They want me to fraudulently list the bumpers as houshold decorations, because it's ILLEGAL to import used car parts into Viet Nam. Not enjoying the prospect of prison, I passed. I have not seen the actual bumpers they produce, so I have no idea of the quality. But they are manufactured in Viet Nam and that's where they're shipped from.
