Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Was wondering if anybody know os a source for a conversion of my 65 BJ8 to a stainless steel brake line conversion kit. Looking for a set rather then going custom if they are availbale. Found a company called paragon that will custom make them for me but haven't been able to find pre made set. Any ideas?

Also if you have a set on your car how do you feel about them? I have heard the this is the way to go. Better pedal feel and safety

Thanks

Your looking for Doug Reid I believe. Can't find his address now.

These people sell stainless brake tubing.

Classic Tube

I purchased, pre made, cut to length, stainless lines for the rear of my BJ8. The shorter of the two tubes did not fit. They were more than happy to provide a piece to my specifications in place of what they sent.

Having dabbled in stainless tubing for brakes on the BJ8 and my Mini, I am not a big fan. It does not look original, it isn't easy to see when installed and the effort is much greater, because it "work hardens". I think it is fantastic for a Hot Rod, but just doesn't look right in the Healey engine compartment. As far as longevitiy goes: If you take care of your brakes, plain steel tubes will outlive you!
