SSsnake's Hood Operates

Bodyshop is slowly moving along...reshaping of the nose is progressing & the hood is hinged & operational...a few minor adjustments & we'll start installing/modifying the latch mechanism.

Oh, the dark stuff below the grille opening is fiberglass where we've started reshaping the opening & where we moved the lower grille area and valance forward to be flush with the upper grille area.

Will do, Rick...I ordered them from McMaster-Carr....was a little worried until I tried them a couple of times today...they don't start working until the hood is raised about 4" then they go up quickly but smoothly.....but we weighed the hood & fitted them to that weight.
