TR6 Squeal When Turning Sharply at Low Speed

I am hearing a loud, high-pitched squeal from the left front wheel area when I turn sharply to the right when pulling into my garage. I am moving very slow, less than 5 mph, and I am not touching the brake. I only notice the sound on the left wheel when turning right. The calipers are tight and the anti-squeal shims are lubricated and in place on the pads. The brake pad pins are old and a little pitted. The rotors do not seem to have any free-play.

Anyone having or seen this issue and have any suggestions?

Have you checked to ensure your tires or wheels are not rubbing some part of the front suspension or chassis when you make a sharp turn?

Check your wheel bearing play - calipers will typically not move but you may have rotor movement from a loose or failing bearing. Edit Oops I see you did check - but if you haven’t lifted a wheel off the ground yet I would then see if the wheel has any noticeable play.

Dust shield rubbing?

Make sure a squirrel family hasn't built a nest in the suspension and that you are squeezing them on turns.

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Got a chance to get it up on lift and pulled wheel were I could really see it. Dust shield looks like it could rub under extreme turns. Re-adjusted clearance and so far, so good!

Thanks for the suggestions!

Good to hear (or not hear:wink-new:smile:. Thanks for the update.

Cheers
