So, just a curiosity - nothing more.
Does anyone on the Forum have a Spruce Green 100? I was looking at my “Original Austin-Healey” book this afternoon and it has a number of photos of a Spruce Green car. I have been to a lot of Healey and British Car shows and I cannot recall ever seeing a Spruce Green car in person. If anyone has one I would love to see some more photos.
Anyone?

This is, of course, the Jackie Cooper 100S, the only 100S painted Spruce Green.

not a 100 but mine was painted G13 Spruce Green by PO.

My 1956 BN2.

Hmmm, looks a lot like BRG. Maybe the lighting, but I think your painter pulled a fast one....and you got the classic BRG color.

My '54 was originally spruce green, will get that color again when it's ready. I found original paint on the dash flanges in other covered spots like under the rear shocks on the frame. The color looks just like TFR1's pictures.
There was a super low mileage, original spruce green that sold last year on BringATrailer, lots of gorgeous shots of that car are still available.

And now one in a Bring-a-Trailer auction:

The green of the interior is a major clash with the Spruce Green paint. The interior almost looks like Olive Drab (aka Army green). Hard to accept that that color is accurate.

You're right about the interior, Reid. The original-paint car I saw was a low-mileage survivor and the interior color was more "green" than "olive", It didn't exactly match the exterior color, having less blue and more of a yellowish tint.

This Spruce Green 100 belongs to a member of the Austin-Healey Owners' Club of Queensland.IMG_1856.jpg
