I generally hang out on the Triumph forum but I thought I'd mention here that if you're ever in the St Louis area you should stop by Country Classic Cars in Staunton IL. Buried among the hundreds of old American cars there are around 6-8 Sprites and Midgets in various stages of repair, some looking pretty nice. You can have a look in the list here: https://www.countryclassiccars.com/cars.htm

I bought a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer from them and it was a very smooth transaction -- they even left the box of manuals and new parts that the previous owners had accumulated in the back seat for me.

thanks for the link - did see a spit there too. though I have to say - for just a little more I might have to drive a 912/ 914 home - even the little fiat would make a nice racer.

give them a call - if it doesn't link for you - won't for anyone else yet either
