Sprite Sway Bar

Re: Sprite Sway Bar

My 949 has been bored to 998, heh.

I would expect that a 206 or a 295 is the way to go.

In addition Visard comments that these are the ones to replace your Bugeye stock head wit. Straight bolt on 6 Hp.

Re: Sprite Sway Bar

12G206 and 12G295s are the "open chamber heads" which are not much different than a full race prepared 948 head, though without the potential drawbacks like expense and unreliability normally associated with full race heads.
I would expect a lot more than 6 hp if you would also use the HS2 carbs insted of the original "HS1" carbs.
BTW, they bolt directly onto a stock 948 without overbore.

Re: Sprite Sway Bar

Oh yes, I have a set of HS2 carbs and intake and a 1297 exhaust manifold as well for when the time comes.

Gota breath you know. All three items should give about 12 HP bolt on. With a bit of head work even some more.
